Good server but the food is not really tasty

The food... doesn't have layers and depth you experience from any other Korean restaurant. Given the place is run by all Koreans, it's a bit odd. It isn't bad taste, but felt like they just dished out instant meals. 3 stars because the place is very clean and neat.

Very good food. Most of it is spicy so be prepared.

We had a delicious dinner at this restaurant last evening. The service was attentive (fast and friendly)...my dinner companions (from Seoul) both thought the food was wonderful. The patrons were 90% Korean....a 'hidden' gem..... 고맙습니다 (Thank you).

Tasty japhche good service

Quick service and great authentic Korean food. I love the bulgogi and bibimbap, but I can't recall ever being disappointed with anything I've ordered here. You will also get three small starter/side dishes that add a few different flavours to your meal, which add to the experience.

food is not that bad but my japchae is obviously microwaved, bulgogi is on sizzling plate; cant even see the steam which is quite disappointing....☹️

It was a good time here! Good flavours, friendly service at lunch. Would have preferred a few more sides, but the bean sprouts, potatoes and Kim Chi were good.

The food was not bad but there are better tasting Korean restaurants in the down town.

I used to love this place, but I stopped going for the past 2 years after some changes they've made. For one, side dishes for reorder with your meal was limited from 2 times to 1. Another, prices were increased - at a cost for quality that's gone down. I decided to stop by for take out after not being there for two years, and it gave me the confidence to never go back again. I ordered a meal to go, and side dishes were not offered, (as it would've been for eating in) and was told that it was an extra cost then.

Everything is great, price is a little higher than average.

Could not find much meat in the Kamjatang pork bone soup. Looks like they ripped off most of the meat from the bones then served customer the bones. That's what I got for $16. And the Jjajangmyun pork noodle dish. Had only about 4-5 small pieces of pork for $13. I felt like I was cheated. Waitress was very nice though. Had to give her a small tip.

I loved their service, two girls are so friendly.The food is good as well.The kimchi soup is a little spicy but totally acceptable. The seafood pancake is delicious.I loved their traditional Korean food, and the price is reasonable! I will stay Victoria for three day this time and I will visit them for following three days.Hahaha2020.01.09Like I said, I will visit them for following days, hahaToday I ordered the noodle and potato soup, they are sooooo delicious! I almost finished the soup even I was too full to ate anything. The noodle is also good, the source is tasty! 5 start for sure!❤️❤️

I ordered takeout but they didn’t include side dishes. I’m no expert on Korean cuisine, but the side dishes I’ve always found to be integral to the quality of the meal. Paying $82 for it with no side dishes seems quite unfair and I was pretty displeased.

The food is really good here! I loved it! For sure, I will come back on my next visit to Victoria. The waitress was really kind, especially the person with the circular glasses!

This is a Super busy place, however servers offer really good service and showed patience explaining to customers who may need a long wait. They always talk with nice smiles and Food is amazing and inexpensive! Will definitely recommend for people to come.Second time after 7 months I am disappointed. service was still really good but food was not tasty. Seafood soybean soup looked like left overs from other guests. I was sad. Will try one more time to decide if I will let go of this place.

Good food. Right for both Korean and western palates. Reasonable prices. The galbijjim is excellent. Definitely recommended.

We are Asian from Toronto with lots of Korean restaurants. Best seafood pancake here than in Toronto. Less greasy and crispy. Very convenience location. Very reasonable price. Will liquor license.

I have nothing but good things to say about King Sejong. Friendly staff led to fast service and seating. The food was all delicious, and decently priced. Don't let the spice level deter you from ordering something off the menu, the kitchen is more than willing to accommodate all spice tolerance levels. I'll certainly be coming back to King Sejong the next chance I get.

The staff is always polite and working hard. I give them a credit for that. However, when you order more than 3 stuff at once it's hit or miss. They mess up one of the meals. At least one meal doesn't taste right. I believe the cook has changed or inconsistent.

The best Korean food that I have ever had.

Came here on a whim after watching some YouTube videos and drooling over Korean food.Is a definite favourite now compared to other Korean restaurants I've tried and am always happy with the service and food. Would highly recommend!

Quick service even on a saturday and very nice staff!

I was very unsure about eating here but oh my goodness am I glad I did. I have the lunch special Bibimbap and it was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu. Great service. Staff were very friendly and didn't have a long wait for food.

Authentic korean food, good service, and a friendly staff

This is a very good Korean restaurant with an assortment of authentic items on the menu. I had the Ojingeo Bokkeum (Spicy Squid on a sizzling plate) It's so spicy I drank a pitcher of water. It comes with spicy appetizers and rice. It's a little bit pricey but well worth it.
